Environmental education in it’s widest sense has always been a main feature of my career. Both for work and as a volunteer. It is certainly something I enjoy.

This has mostly been with adults apart from many years ago when I worked with schools. I also set up a very successful environmental summer playscheme. Recently I have done some more school work but this is small in comparison to the work with adults.

During the Covid pandemic most face to face activities stopped. Like many people in a similar position I had no choice but to stop providing these services. However now that the covid pandemic is well and truly behind us I will start doing more of these activities.

Most of my environmental education work is specifically tailored to a group, site, species, habitat or event. It is rarely very general and there is quite a large element of preparation required.
